Mike Piazza is one of the top baseball players in the world. In an
interview in the October 1997 Penthouse magazine, Piazza criticizes the
welfare state and says, "when it comes to politics... I'm more of a
libertarian, I think." Piazza isn't consistent in his
libertarianism -- he argues for handgun control in the same interview --
but he's sure moving in the right direction.
