No More Nude Shakespeare
County commissioners in Seminole County, Florida have closed a
glaring loophole in the county's strict new anti-nudity ordinance.
The ordinance had made an exception for nudity in "theatrical
performances." Taking full advantage of this, enterprising strippers at the
Club Juana bar began enacting scenes from Shakespeare's "Macbeth," along
with other dramas -- all in the buff, of course.
The commissioners, who apparently have no appreciation for the fine arts,
quickly responded by banning nude theatrical performances, as well.
