Country Singer A Reason-able Libertarian
Robbie Fulks is a critically-acclaimed country music (or "alternative
country") singer/songwriter, known for his use of wit and sarcasm in lyrics
and his traditional approach to country music. (A review in the Michigan
Daily described him this way: "Fulks shoots new life into country...If Garth
Brooks is to country music as Bud Lite is to booze, then Robbie Fulks is
Jack Daniels.")
Fulks is also a self-declared libertarian, says the May 2000 issue of
Reason magazine. Fulks is even a Reason reader.
His albums, all of which have received extensive critical praise, are
"Country Love Songs," "South Mouth," "Let's Kill Saturday Night," and his
newest, "The Very Best of Robbie Fulks."
