Around April 15 - just the time when millions of Americans were mad enough to really appreciate it - nationally syndicated columnist Cal Thomas made this astonishingly libertarian pronouncement in his column:

"People who relieve others of their money with guns are called robbers. It does not alter the immorality of the act when the income transfer is carried out by government."
