'Million Moms' Benefit NRA
Some unintended good has apparently come out of the misinformed and
misguided "Million Moms March" for gun control.
The publicity for the march has awakened millions of Americans to the fact
that their Second Amendment rights are under strong attack and in serious
jeopardy.
One sign of this awakening is that record numbers of Americans are joining
the National Rifle Association. NRA membership has jumped to a record 3.6
million, with 200,000 people joining in the six weeks leading up to the
march.
The NRA has also received $10 million in new contributions to help battle
the increasing calls for more gun regulation.
