Job Application Process


If you are interested in applying for a position with the Advocates for Self-Government, please carefully follow the following process.

Step #1: COVER LETTER AND RESUME

Please send a one-page cover letter and your resume to us via email or via fax to 770-386-8373. All e-mail messages should mention the position sought in the subject line. If you fax the documents, please include an e-mail address in the cover letter and/or resume, if possible.

NO PHONE CALLS, PLEASE.

In your cover letter, please tell us (1) how you learned about the job opening, (2) why you are interested in working with The Advocates, and (3) how you label your political position. Feel free to include any other information you deem relevant, and keep to one page.

Note: If you submit your materials via email, you should receive an automatic generated e-mail confirmation from us. If you do not receive this e-mail within a few minutes, check your bulk, junk or spam folder, as some e-mail programs may misdirect the message there.

Step #2: ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTATION

If you submit a cover letter and resume, we will respond to you as soon as possible if we would like additional information from you.

Step #3: PHONE INTERVIEW

Those we see as leading prospects will be asked to schedule a telephone interview.

Step #4: IN-PERSON INTERVIEW

After the phone interview process, we will conduct in-person interviews with the top applicants for the position.

We will inform all applicants when the position is filled.
