We Can Reach Millions

We have a plan to spread the word about the World's Smallest Political Quiz and dramatically boost the number of people who take it -- but we need your help to make it happen.

You've already experienced the Quiz. You know what an eye-opener it is, and how it magnifies your understanding of politics.

But millions of people have never heard of the Quiz. Millions of people, even those who consider themselves politically aware, still think politics is a simplistic line that runs from Left to Right.

Imagine if we could reach these people, and tell them about the Quiz. Imagine if we could switch on a lightbulb -- and help these people suddenly realize that their traditional way of looking at politics was obsolete and incomplete.

The good news is that we can reach them. How? By advertising in political magazines of every ideological stripe -- in National Review, Mother Jones, The Weekly Standard, The Nation, The New Republic, American Conservative, The Utne Reader, and so on.

By targeting these magazines, we'll target Americans who are most interested in politics. They are most likely to visit a political Web site, and are most likely to take a political quiz. They are ready, eager, and smart enough to be intrigued by this powerful tool that can amplify their understanding of politics.

 

Most of these magazine readers probably consider themselves conservatives or liberals. That's fine. We're not saying our ads or the Quiz will change their minds about politics. But the Quiz will open their minds to a new way of looking at politics -- one that transcends the old Left-Right line.

Our advertisements will also allow us to reach the opinion-makers -- journalists, politicians, broadcasters, radio talk show hosts, columnists -- who read these magazines. These are the influential elite who can reach millions more people about the Quiz and the new political map. But we must reach those opinion-makers first.

Oliver Wendell Holmes said, "A mind stretched by a new idea never returns to its original shape." We have a chance to stretch the minds of millions of politically active Americans. We can do it with our planned series of eye-catching, provocative ads featuring the World's Smallest Political Quiz.

We can run an advertisement about the Quiz in a major political magazine for as little as $200. A donation of $100 will get us halfway there. $50 would be great. Even $20 will make a big difference.
