Political Figures
I think government is too big, too nosy, too intrusive, and often hurts those it intends to help. Government doesn't work. Liberty and freedom do.
A senior lecturer in psychology at Clemson University, Jorgensen is also an entrepreneur and a longtime advocate for individual liberty and limited government. Before entering academia, Jorgensen founded a software and computer technology sales company, a business consulting company, and co-founded a software duplication company. She was the Libertarian Party’s presidential nominee in 2020 and its vice presidential nominee in 1996. Her platform emphasizes free markets, non-interventionist foreign policy, and civil liberties as essential pillars of a freer society.
Sidebar: During her 2020 presidential campaign, Jo Jorgensen had to skip a rally after being bitten by a bat, prompting a precautionary rabies vaccine. The incident earned her the moniker “Dark Knight” on social media.
